Things will start out pleasant, with seasonably warm weather on Friday and Saturday before a storm is expected to bring heavy rain and gusty winds on Sunday leading into Monday's commute.

According to AccuWeather, there is a 94 percent chance of rain on Sunday, which could last for several hours into Monday, when it will be breezy in the morning until the rain stops.

The heaviest rain is expected starting late in the afternoon on Sunday before letting up slightly on Monday.

Winds are expected to approach 40 mph and there could be as many as three inches of rain, according to forecasters in the region; however, temperatures should stay warm enough that the rain doesn't turn into snow or a wintry mix.
